Katrina News: It's Back

When blogging is rushed because there are numerous people hovering over one while he blogs from the visitors center in Yellowstone, there is always Katrina coverage news.  I could see this one coming: here is a pretty good story about how Dickie Scruggs wants to consolidated hundreds of lawsuits into one mass trial.  If he had sufficient commonality for a class action, I imagine he'd seek class certification.  If he doesn't, how is a mass trial appropriate?  Except as a publicity maneuver, of course.
