The Value Of Experienced Coverage Counsel
Considering the kind of hard-core coverage folks who read this blog, this post by Stephen Rosenberg is preaching to the choir. It's a strange and recurrent phenomenon, however, that many policyholders and even some insurers hire counsel in a coverage matter who, to all appearances, have no idea what they're talking about. To anyone reading this blog who hires these lawyers, let me just say this: those of us on the other side notice and adjust our legal strategies to exploit a lack of expertise, knowledge or intellectual curiosity. On another note, I just recently became aware of Stephen's blog, and I highly recommend it. It's thoughtful and well-written with a mixture of topics.
